swollen feet

I'm 39 weeks this Friday, and for the past 2 weeks my feet have been swollen and elevating them doesn't help. I'm not on my feet constantly. I know swelling is a sign of pre-eclampsia and I googled it and I also have other symptoms of it as well. Im.scared to death thinking I might have pre eclampsia, or am I just over thinking it?

I see my doctor on Thursday and my blood pressure is always normal which is what I've been told. I got told almost a month ago that something was in my urine and they had to send it off for more tests. When I went for my next appointment they never mentioned the results of that urine test so I figured everything was normal but I'm.definitely going to ask questions on Thursday!

How's your blood pressure? I know many expecting mommies who have swelling everywhere not just their feet. Sounds pretty normal but check it out if you have other signs. Hoping everythings ok!

When was your last appointment? They test your urine for protien every appointment which is a tell tale sign of pre eclampsia.  I've just call your ob in the mourning and tell them.  I had pre eclampsia my last pregnancy from week 26.

You could just be retaining a lot of water. I have that same problem. The swelling will not go down at all. My doctor told me to watch my sodium intake and massage my feet a couple times a day. I'll be 38 weeks tomorrow and I swear it looks like my leg just goes straight into a giant foot with little stubby sausages on the end :(
