I didn't tear either with my first. I was back to normal in 3 weeks. I can take longer but things will go back to normal. Do your kegels!!!

I've delivered two kids vaginally and had a few stitches each time - totally back to normal after each baby. it's amazing how the body recovers!  Congrats on your daughter!

That's really really great that You didn't tear or need stitches!!!!! And yes your vagina will go back to normal...I don't know how long that would take though because I'm a first time mom and I'm not due until October....but most of my friends have babies and they told me it does go back to normal...just varies from woman to woman
