Totally agree, its still very possible to concieve after eptopic,i had one in my right tube, although wasnt removed, completely blocked.pregnant now.so tell your doctor where to go,it really frustrates me with doctors.they tell patients things like this can potentially ruin someones life saying these things.think its time doctors went back to med schools, sorry im moaning, its the hormones, but yes you can concieve.you still ovulate every month..you may want to chart to help you with timing, best of luck..

I actually have not had this happen to me but my best friend had the same thing happen - she lost her left tube due to an eptopic pregnancy and the dr told her there would be a SLIM to NONE chance that she could ever get pregnant again...... She just found out that she is 8 weeks pregnant with a successful implantation.....So It is possible! Good Luck!

Yes, but as princessartois mentioned it does make it a bit harder. Did they take the ovary on that side too. Most of the time they don't, unless there was a reason to. (If they did then the other ovary will pick up when the other one isn't available) If they didn't then your body will still ovulate regularly, but when the egg is on your left it will not get to the uterus to be implanted. Most women ovulate from one ovary each month and they usually take turns, but not always. To increase your chances make sure you are keeping up with your BBT and checking your cervical fluids. If you are ovulating, BD until the cows come home and then pray you ovulated on the right side. If all else fails, you may want to see and RE (reproductive endocrinologist) to see if they can stimulate the ovary on the right to increase your chances.

Hi I had my left tube removed Nov last year and am now 14 weeks pregant all looking good at the moment.

There is no reason why you can not carry a baby full term or get pregnant (i fell naturally) There is a reduced chance I think its only 20% less not the 50% like some people think.

I feel pregnant and to be honest - wasnt really trying x
So good luck, sure you will be fine x and if it doesnt work there are loads of things they can do now with IVF or checking out your tubes etc.
