weight at anatomy scan??

Did your doctors tell you they weight of your baby at your anatomy scan? I had mine done at exactly 20 weeks, and he weighed 14.6 ounces, I didn't know they were able to measure the weight yet.

What did your baby weigh?

I think I was told 8oz at my anatomy scan but that was done before 18 weeks also so that may be why there is such a big difference. How they tell weight is by the size of head, tummy, and the length of the femur I believe is the bone the measure. Pretty interesting I would say but ya its always just an estimate. My sister was told she was having a 8lb baby and the next day delivered a 10lb baby!! So its always a guess really until they get them on the scale :)

They dont tell us over here...I'm 38+5 and they wont tell me anything other than 'average'! I've had 2 big babies and would really like a littler one! I wish they would say more, at least then I could make my peace with the idea of another 8 or 9lber!

I guess 14 oz is a good weight for 20 weeks:) I was worried bc he was measuring a full week behind by 2 u/s at 12 weeks. So glad he caught up.

I can't remember if i was told the weight or not. I'm 30 weeks, and had my 3d/4d ultrasound at 29 weeks and I was told the weight then!
