I got pregnant at 29 and had my little girl at 30. It was worth the wait because I managed to obtain my PhD at 26 and had some work experience after that and have landed (unexpectedly) one of the best jobs someone in my field (and age) can have. It was perfect timing for my situation.

WOW! there is alot of 19's on here! I thought i would have a baby around there too but nope im 28 and STILL TTC! I'm gonna be one old first time mom if i can ever get that dang BFP!!

Now I'm 31 and am pregnant with my second - will have the baby before my 32nd birthday (I'm due on January 19 and they won't let me go as late as my birthday - Feb. 4 - if I'm overdue).

I feel old, LOL I didn't even try for my first until I was 25 and didn't have him until I was 31. I've been married to DH since I was 20 and the first five years we spent traveling and just having fun. :)

3 1/2  yrs ago when i had DD the average age of a first time mom in the US was 25.3 yrs, that's exactly what i was!
