what kind of traditions....
What kind of traditions do you plan on carrying down to your bundles? Me and hubby was talking about Sunday breakfast and one present on Christmas Eve but really couldnt think of alot any ideas?
We do the one present on Xmas eve and also read the night before Xmas story before bed on Xmas eve. Also in every mid October we go to a pumpkin patch farm with corn maze animals rides and all that fun stuff. I love family traditions!
When we were kids we always got one new Christmas orniment for the tree each year. I will do that with my kids, as well as cookies at the holidays.
Every year the kids get a Christmas tree ornament. My oldest is the only one with a collection as of now LOL. Let's see what else... Camping trips, fishing, and hunting every year as well...
Ohh also I was going to let my baby pick out his/her very own Christmas tree decoration every year and when my child gets his/her own place they will already have decorations for there own tree. My mom done that with us and I have to say its kinda neat seeing what cought my eye at a year old and it was nice not having to buy a bunch of decorations when me and hubby got our own place.
Aww I love the cookies idea I was thinking of something like that for holidays especially Christmas with the new baby I figure that'll be everyones Christmas present seems alot cheaper and it'll give me and my child something to do together! My hubby's isn't much for baking any ideas for all of us?
my family passes down a deviled.egg recipie only on the girls side, and we make LOTS of cookies to pass out on thanksgiving and christmas day every year before we open presents or go see other family members.
Sundays @ d gurdwara is a defo.and maybe a few of my family recipes....not really traditions as such,more like way of life.but I get what ya mean. :-)
