what's it take to make my body ovulate?

So I don't think i'm Ovulating. Docs are on the fence about PCOS now, saying that I don't have insulin resistance (actually hypoglycemic!) and on CD 19 (last month) my serum progesterone level was a 3. Apparrently thats low???

Anyhoo, i've been using opk's and haven't gotten a single positive in 2 months! I'm confused b/c I thought PCOS'ers had false positives b/c of unusually high LH...so i don't know why i'm not getting ANY positives....

what can i do naturally to make my body ovulate? i'm already on progesterone cream...

thanks!

WOW...congrats! See, thats what I thought i had read about progesterone but I wasnt sure b/c i couldn't find it again. There's a slight possibility that I AM ovulating today...the OPK was darker than its ever been but it still wasn't as dark as it supposed to be...i'm taking it as a positive sign even though i only had a teeny tiny bit of ewcm. Maybe after a couple months of progesterone my cycles will get back to normal.
thanks for the help!

My OBGYN put me on progesterone supplment (orally) for 12 nights because I was getting my periods every other week for like a 4 week period.  When I had 4 pills left I began AF, then I ovulated (based on EWCM, which I also get exactly 14 days before my period) and am now 6 weeks 2days pg!  The thing is, if your body isn't producing enough progesterone, then you won't ovulate (that's how my doctor explained it) because your body isn't going through the proper cycle. Maybe you could try the oral pills?

My doc is treating me for adrenal fatigue and hypothyroidism as well as some other issues. He says that b/c i'm not 'actively ttc" i should give it some time before going on clomid or something like that. While i agree, i want to ovulate just for the purposes of hormone balancing. Without ovulation, i'm not producing progesterone on my own. Progesterone cream is great but I'd prefer not having to use it.  I wasn't ovulating before using the progesterone cream, which is why i started using it (to balance estrogen dominance and get hormones in order). I've only used it once and am 4 days away from using it the 2nd cycle so i don't think its' causing anovulation.....

Its confusing to me that I supposedly have PCOS but don't have registering OPKs...

I would stop the progesterone you may then ovulate.you use this after ovulation, you could ask you doctor to perscribe you clomid.but i think once you stop using progesterone you will ovulate.

you could use a med to help you drop more eggs which would help you ovulate.  the progesterone does not help ovualtion, it just helps build up the uterus linign to hold a healthy pregnancy.  i am on prog supps myself.  what else is the doctor suggesting?  do you see a fertility doctor or just a OB/GYN?

I don't think you can do anything...I think there are other meds out there besides progesterone that can help you ovulate...
