To her defense everyone she asked if other women would. She never said she herself would even consider doing so. She may have heard of someone else trying that early or wanting to and wanted an opinion. Don't automatically jump to conclusions.

That is too early to induce. If it is medically necessary to induce that early then the best option would be a medical induction because baby can be monitored for safety. Castor oil is for full term self inductions and only works if your body is ready for labor and may not work that early. It is dangerous for mom and baby to self induce that early.

I do believe in self inductions once you are full term and baby and moms body are ready. Castor oil is an effective way for most pregnant moms but it like any other medications or self inductions have its risks. It is just as safe used for induction as any other method, I have done research. Self inductions are only a safe option for uncomplicated pregnancies that have reached full term.

That baby still has a couple months of growing and developing left to do.  It would be so unfair for that baby if you try to induce that early.

way to early... you don't want baby to come until around 37 + weeks or there are complications.  and then your in the NICU and its not fun at all...  only a few more weeks and your home free.

Please dont do it. Your baby isnt ready yet!  If baby was to come this early you are looking at a nicu stay and possiblity of life long complications for your child!!

No that's not a good idea. Let the baby go full term hs or she will come when the time is ready. You're almost there why risk the health of the baby

No, let baby come on his/her own. Why would you risk your unborn's health?

Why would you? You're way too early to be trying to induce labor.
