HELP PLEASE

Hey ladies
I'm 27 weeks pregnant. And my right side has been bothering me everyday. Its right below my ribcage. Now it's not my gallbladder. Had it taken out. Could this pain be because the baby is growing? It usually stops hurting if I lay down.

I had pain like this a few weeks ago. It persisted over night so my husband took me to the hospital just to make sure everything with my appendix was okay. Turned out my appendix was great, BUT I had a kidney infection. Now, your kidneys generally give you lower back pain but the doctor said its common for pregnant women to feel right abdominal pain with a kidney infection because your growing uterus can put pressure on the ureters (part them takes urine from your kidneys to your urethra and out of your body). Anyway, long story short it called for an overnight stay and intravenous antibiotics with an IV.

If you pain persists or worsens I would definitely go to the hospital to make sure everything is okay. I also had some uti symptoms at the time...just an fyi.

Everything is okay now. Hoping the best for you!

I have had this pain a few times, but just attributed it to baby pushing. I don't always feel other movement with it.

The pain isn't from my babies feet. Cause i don't feel any type of kicking or anything.

Yea I've had kidney stones before. This pain is different. And I've been drinking. Lots of water. But I'll definitely ask my Dr about it. :)

I just went to the dr for the same thing and they sent me to the hospital thinking it could be my appendix turned out it wasn't but that it was kidney stones I would definitely talk to your doctor about it to be safe

It's normal. It's the stretching of your muscles and rib being pushed. It happens often on the right side but I don't know why. Just don't worry though because it's totally normal.

It can be your babies foot if your baby is head down. My baby is a breech baby and her knees or head knocks against my right ribs and it hurts alot. Anyways better if you can talk to your doctor.
