I am 25 weeks pregnant with my second baby and was told today my cervix was very soft. The Dr checked me because I had gone into preterm labor with my son due to an infection we were unaware of. They were able to stop the contractions with a shot and I had him only a week early. So I'm being monitored a little more closely this time. So anyway he said my cervix was very soft and said he could probably push his finger through if he wanted. That is how soft it is. I'm going to be seen again in 2 weeks for a test that checks for the labor chemical to make sure I will not be going into labor within the next 2 weeks (I forgot what the test was called). I was dialled to a 2 with my son for 9 weeks before I had him and actually ended up needing to be induced because my water broke. Idk if it's just common for me to start the whole process early and it to go slowly or what. I'm really worried I'm going to have her early. Has anyone else experienced a soft Cervix so early on and had their baby full term? Thank you!
