3 days past due :-/ get induced?

So I just had my apt today and my ob said I haven't had any change at all. There's no sign of her coming. I havent even dialated a bit. NOTHING.... I'm so not happy and my hope of having it happen all natural as possible has faded. Ob wants to wait till next Mondays apt to see were I'm at. I mentioned being induced, he said he does not recommended that because I can possibly be in labor pain forever and still end up have to do a c-section. I don't want that!I'm such a daddy's girl, and my dad is leaving to Mexico this friday, I am upset/disappointed. Any suggestions on what to do or opinions are greatly appreciated

On the same boat..im 40+3 tomorrow..been having small contractions but they're not repetitive,so might just be braxton hicks. My dR recommended being índuced next monday if bby is not here yet (at 41+2), but hopes bby will come before that..i've also tried walking, pineapple and pineapple chamomile tea,.hopefully baby can come before Monday.

@ liliuca, hes not recommending a c-section, he's just saying that since I'm not dilating at all, that that possibly still won't change being induced therefore I'm risking a c-section to have to be done so I should wait and see if there's any change before being induced

With everyone's input, yours, family and frinds, majority say wait so I shall wait and hope for the best. And yes, I've tried many things to jump start labor. I will continue.  Thank you all for your feedback

Try walking a lot or up and down stairs. That might help get you going.

Why is she/he suggesting you a c- section?  With my first I was 40 wks when they induced me..not even my cervix was open! And everything went great! Good luck to you!!

My OB will not induce me until friday when I get to be 41weeks. Im already overdue but her I am waiting patiently. Try to relax the babies come whenever they are ready. I just started having small contractions yesterday. As of last Thursday I wasn't dilated or effaced at all but I guess my body is doing what it's suppose to do now.

I was induced and only n labor for 23 hrs when my baby's heart rate was dropping n had to have c section I got bed sores where I couldn't move and was n deep depression if I could do it over I would've waited to go into labor alone good luck

You are lucky to have such a great ob. He is right! Just relax and give your body time. My midwives say nipple stimulation does work.

I was induced but I had an epideral almost immediately so I didn't feel any pain I was just immobile for a day lol.
