3 hour glucose test

Ok I had a doctor appointment today and was supposed to get one hour test. But I failed test the beginning before taking the drink
Now I have to take three hour test. Did anyone pass the 3 hour test after failing the first?

Idk but I find out next week if I pass. Thank you all for commenting I was really emotional when they said it. So I cried alot at the beginning.

Flick youre right how surprising it is how different places do their glucose tests. I was never told anything about not eating and actually ate like a 1/2hour before my test and they didn't draw my blood before, only after. I passed.

I failed the 1 hr glucose one and passed the 3 hr one. I even had gestational diabetes with my first two pregnancies, thank God not with this one. It happens, alot of women fail the first and pass with flying colors on the 3 hr one, no worries

No they didn't. Just stressed me out because I try to eat good. But I had a long day at church.

Maybe and hopefully it was a faulty test that they did. Did they tell you what your blood sugar was?

Yes the did it through my finger first then saw it was high so I had to do the three hour test.

For the one hour I was told you just cant eat 2 hours before....the 3 hour would be the fasting one. So they drew blood for the one hour before you drank anything??? They didn't do that for my 1 hour...which was last week.

I ate last night before 9 and drank a bottle of water. But nothings else

Did you eat before the test? They normally don't test you before you take the drink.. My first child I barly failed first one and passed 3 hour
