3 hour glucose test.

How long until you get results. I had my test two days ago and no call yet. I'm anxious to know. How long did it take for you to get results? And do they call you if its negative?

I got mine bak the next day I had the test done on Thursday and fri I had an appointment with my doc and she had the result right in front of her when I went to.see her

I called my doctors office constantly for 2 days and they finally gave me my results. It drove me crazy since when they told me i failed the first one, they didnt tell me what it meant...just that i failed. I was so emotional.

Yea they said no Gd but my body isn't processing sugar as fast as it should be so just to be safe go on a low carb diet for the rest of the pregnancy and to learn how to do that they are sending me to a nutritionist.

If only one was high u still passed u only have to pass two out of the 3 if u fail more then one then u r considered to have gd

Update: I just got results.. the first blood draw was a tiny bit high.. the rest were normal. I am going to see a nutritionist and go on a strict low carb diet for the rest of the pregnancy, but no insulin or anything.

I went in and they took my blood. Then I immediately drank the drink and waited one hour and had my blood drawn again. Then waited another hour and had my blood drawn again then waited another hour and had my blood drawn again. I got stuck 6 times because two of the times there was no blood return. I think I was a little dehydrated. It wasn't too bad, but I hate how it took most of my day. I brought a book to read. Good luck.

@dada_85 first hour was the worst for me kept feeling like I was going to get sick which I prayed I didn't cuz I knew I'd have to take it all over a different day. It wasn't to bad but sucked not being able to drink water during the test. I was only allowed very small sips if needed which I had to in order to help keep myself from getting sick. Definitely bring something to do cuz its very boring and if u don't time will go by even slower. When I got there they drew my blood had me drink the drink and an hour later drew my blood again and then another hour later they drew my blood again and one last time another hour later. Good luck.

Usually a couple days but u can always call them. My Dr called an said I passed mine a couple days after.

Hi, why don't you call the office and see if they have the results. Usually no call is a good thing. I have to get mine done on Monday and its driving me crazy. Would you mind telling me a bit about how your test was? Thanks and good luck with results ☺
