Hello lady's so I had my son 3 weeks ago and my husband wants to have sex! My doctor told me to wait 6 weeks and my husband keeps insisting. He told me tomorrow be ready for me lol he going to stop at the drug store to buy some condoms. Did anyone not wait the six weeks to have sex can something happen to me before the six weeks...

My doc said to wait the full 6 weeks to allow your cervix to return to normal. I asked why.. aside from the obvious potential for pregnancy.. she said because if your cervix is still thinned or open the physical act of having sex can push air into the uterus and cause an air embolism.. so i would definitely talk to your doc..

Dude it hurts the first couple times even after six weeks. Wait the six weeks! You don't want any complications like infection

I had it vaginal @pookiedook I just finished telling my husband he has to wait and that I will give him satisfaction in any other way and he said No. I will have to leave early tomorrow morning so he won't touch me. I'm just praying to god I get my period I don't want to give in I want it badly but I have to say noooooo

If yu have a c section you can have sex after two weeks if the bleeding has stopped completely ..its was in my discharge papers so it was okay of course after your cut feels better..vaginally your suppose to wait 6 weeks but i waited four and i didnt get pregnant ..ppl always scare you with that condom mess but condoms works just fine for alot of ppl for years..just protect yourself

Explain to him the risk of infection you will be putting yourself at. If he loves you, he will understand.

Wait.... your body has just went through a h*ll he can't fathom. You need time to completely heal. Sex isn't worth hurting yourself for. Plus... condoms aren't 100%. We all know that... Unless your ready to change diapers with a preggo belly you may want to wait until your checkup appt to check yourself and discuss your birth control plan. The doctors don't tell you to not have sex for those 6 weeks just hear themselves talk. Yea those 6 weeks are hard as crap to get through... been there done that. Maybe a little satisfaction done in another way will satisfy him for the time being???

You could get an infection and you need time to heal. Your husband should be more understanding
