36 weeks and 4 days... Couple Of questions.. Please answer :)

So I am 36 weeks and 4 days and I am having the worst achy pain in the inside of my legs, my pelvic area and my crotch lol. I'm Getting lightning like crazy as well. Sometimes it hurts so bad I can barely walk. :(. Is this because baby is so low and putting lots of pressure in that area? I'm also getting lots of Braxton Hicks as well... Is That my body just getting ready for labor and/or starting to dilate? I do have a doctors appt tomorrow so I'll ask my doctor but I was just wondering if anyone is experiencing the same thing as well.

I am 38 weeks on thursday, and have the same things going on for the last week dear. I went to my appt. Today and she told me baby is getting lower and so that's why all the stretching pains are here! Haha you sound like you're dilating probably going to be by week 38 having your baby!! That's so exciting!

Yes like she said warm baths and gymnastic ball are AMAZING

I'd say your body is preparing for labor, that happened to me right until the end. Yay Mama! :)

I'm 31 weeks and I've had the same pain. I talked to my Dr about it and she said it's perfectly normal and that it will get worse before it gets better.

Yes, it's normal. I've been going through the same exact thing as you and I'm only a week ahead of you. My doctor told me to take Tylenol at night to help me sleep because the pain is worse from not moving as much. Just means we're almost to the best part, being able to meet baby :)

We are so in the same boat, I am also 36w4days but my pain is so bad that I'm being induced this Saturday. I walk so funky that its a shame and my family and friends laugh when they see me coming....yup its that bad but at least the finish line is so close. Good luck with you and your little one :-)

UPDATE**

So I went to the doctor today (36 and 1/2 weeks) and she reassured me that all of my symptoms are normal.  I got checked and I am .5 cm dilated and my cervix is very soft and to the front which she said was really good. She Could also feel baby's head which explains why I am getting all these aches and pains! So excited! Getting So close!

Thanks ladies for all your comments.  :)
