5 days til due date, then I will be induced!

I was told monday "any day now" I almost wish they hadn't said anything because I am going nuts! Everyday is a waiting game, between my birthing ball, long walks, cleaning. I just want her to come already! I want to see her little self! I see things on eating hot foods and other tips to induce your own labor. Have these worked for anyone out there or is it probably just not a good idea? In my opinion she doesnt act like she's ready to come out at all...infact I went from braxton hicks almost everynight to not having any in days....ughhh impatient, but atleast I'm not miserably uncomfortable like most experience:)

I had so much false labor, I thought it was time 4 time over 5 days. Dr's kept telling me any time now... finally I got so fed up I told my self, and hubby, she's not coming, I will go to the drs on Tuesday to talk about being induced (this was Sunday before memorial day). Called his aunt to tell her I was making a dish for her picnic. We went hiking on sunday, he went to a buddy's that night to watch some sort of sport, he came home and we played video games till midnight.  And 130 in the morning on Monday real labor started. Just convince your self baby will come when it's ready. My first did. 22 weeks with number #2.

If you stress over it your body has a harder time letting it happen. Try to take a couple days and relax. Drink plenty of water and go for walks to help with dilation. That's what helped the most to me.
