5 months prego....Have you ever had to put yourself on a timeout?!

Ugh, i had to walk away from my son and husband for no good reason!!!! I literally gave them a kiss and said "mommys going in time out" and i went and took a shower. I just suddenly felt overwhelmed, anxious and uncomfortable in my pregnancy skin!!! I felt like if i didn't give myself a timeout i was going to get emotional or freak out for no reason.....am i the only one?

Meeeeee!!! My sons 2 yr bday is Saturday and I have to get the house clean, laundry done and then of course make all the food. While I was doing the dishes my son pulled a laundry basket up to the washing machine (that had just finished a load) and dumped soap into it. So i went in the rewash it and I come back to the kitchen to find he's pulled out all the spoons from the drawer and put them on the floor. I have three dogs so I had to rewash them. Then he pulled out all the dish towels, wouldn't nap and followed me around cranky and tired... lol when daddy got home I put dinner out and said I'm getting a shower!! I relaxed in there for quite awhile listening to music lol

Yup and there is nothing wrong with that! :-) better than getting upset and yelling and getting yourself worked up etc. I think that's great and it shows self control I have to do it occasionally with my 3 year old. I think it makes us good mommies! :-)
