50% & -2 Means?
I'm 33wks and Lastnight I was checked by my doctor at the L&D because of pelvic pressure..
He told me I was 50% effaced (which means halfway thinned out) but not quite sure what -2 means. Can anyone help?

Did your doc say if you were close to labor? Im 32 weeks with #3 and am so sore down there it makes me wonder if she will come early.
Its ur babies position it goes all the way to 5+. I had to wait till I was a 5 before I was allowed to start pushing. Ur baby is still high up.
According to online article is based on position. Google " my doctor told me I'm 50 percent effaced and negative 2" it'll say efficient dilation and station.

He said my cervix was still closed. So Im not dialated :/
