5w5d and no sac?

I had my first u/s today at 5w5d.  They weren't able to see anything.  They said it still may be too early.  I'm frightened.  Shouldn't I at least be able to see the sac :-(?  I'm extremely sad.

I had scan at five weeks (profile picture) and they said first they couldn't see it - then had second internal scan with doctor and can see sac now :)
Try not stress and wait until you get another scan x

What bothers me is that lots of women are at least able to see a sac at 5w.  Why didn't mine show up :-(?  I cannot help but think there is something wrong with me :-(.

I'm surprised they would even do an ultrasound so early. You can't see anything until 7 or 8 weeks.
I just had one at 8 weeks ave child barely see the hearty beat

It's too early hun and I went through the same thing.... Don't stress.... When I went for my first ultrasound they found no signs of a pregnancy... A week later we seen the sac and fetal pole but no heartbeat.... A couple weeks later I went for an ultrasound 2 weeks later and seen baby and heart beat..... I'm 12w5d now.... I understand its stressful but you need to stay calm for this baby

Its still early... and you may actually be a week earlier because more people don't know ovulation dates or dates of conception.... just relax... I didnt have my 1st ultrasound until 10 weeks...

It's too early to see anything, that is the reason my doctor didn't do an ultrasound until I was 12 weeks and she didn't even attempt to listen for a heartbeat. Normally by weeks 8-10, you should be able to see something. Don't worry it's just too early still.

Thanks!  They a did a blood test before (4w4d), and my hcg levels were 402.  I haven't done one since then.

:( I'm not sure how to answer this. Just thought I'd pop in and say "don't stress" until you know for sure. When is your next u/s and did they do a blood test?
