I had this brown dischargr spotting. Heavy at times from weeks 5-8 I was so stressed my doxtor let me come in for an ultrasound. There he told me it's pretty common in the first trimester. He had a lon explanation of why. As long as it doesn't get heavy or you don't fill a pad you are ok. I seen my bean....and seen the flicker of it's little heart beat at 170 beats a minute. The baby was healthy. If your worried call your doctor tho. Best of luck!

I just posted this but I feel its neccessary to post again. You wod rather go to the doc\ER for nothing then not to go and there was something. Plus all thatadded stress of not knowing Iis not good for your growing baby. It never hurts to check just be sure. I would say dont wait go get check. Im praying for ya.

I would go see the doc.  My first two pregnancies, I was told my spotting was normal, but lost both.  This time my new doc has put me on progesterone.  She said I don't produce enough on my own, and no spotting with this one.  Best to be safe then sorry.  Always worth it to be a little proactive!  Best wishes, and good luck.
