Im 33 years old and this is my 1st pregnancy. I've been having upper abdominal pain about 2 inches under my breasts. My stomach feels so heavy. Is this normal?

Do you have any blood pressure issues? Google preeclampsia. Is the pain on the right side or left? Upper right abdominal pain is only one side effect of preeclampsia. Usually pain on the right side. Contact your healthcare provider if you experience blurred vision, headaches, along with other symptoms. Usually preeclampsia doesn't develope until after week 20 of pregnancy.

I'm 7 wks & 3 days pregnant. I've been having horrible upper abdominal pain as Well. Mine starts in the middle right above my belly button and then moves to the sides. I'm concerned about it. I didn't go through this with my little girl. I've asked my doctor about it and he doesn't seem to be concerned. Mine hurts everyday. It could be gas, I'm not sure though. Like I said I'm going through the same thing.

Sounds like gas pain and bloating.  I'm 8 weeks and I have been getting it off and on.
