Abnormal cbc test at 13 weeks

Anyone else have this? Maybe low iron? :/

I was slightly anemic so i switched prenatals to ones that have iron

You should ask.  When you go in to retake the test,  ask what was a concern in the last one.  Usually you can even do that over the phone.

Nope thats what i was wondering..the doc didnt explain it at all on the phone..just that i had to retake the test..so thanks!

Well a CBC stands for complete blood count n it looks at multiple things such as red blood cells, white blood cells, hemoglobin and hematocrit to name a few, so what exactly of yours is abnormal? I'm guessing your hemoglobin? If so, you need more food in your diet that contains iron such as green leafy veggies and take your prenatals daily. Hemoglobin, btw is what oxygen binds to in the blood and that's how it is carried throughout the body. If cbc in your question stands for something else then disregard what I just said.

Beef liver.sunflower seeds.dried apricots.blackstrap molasses.almonds.cashews.soybeans.raisins.lentils.turkey.lima beans.duck and the highest is prune juice.my doc just gave me a list lol
