Clove oil hasnt touched it... its beyond that I think
Or try a clove paste put it right on the abcess, it will probably burn a little and tastes horrible but its what they put in dry sockets they do sell something similar at the drug store but if you have ground cloves or clove oil on hand its the same thing
I actually love garlic.. lol
I think Im gonna try that too
For added help you can try garlic...this is disgusting but if you can stomach it take a clove and cut it up and eat it right away..or stick one in your mouth near the abcessed tooth. Garlic is a natural antibiotic!!!
I have the meds in hand and Im on my way to ...hopefully a pain free and restful evening.
I also bought an exercise ball for a birthing ball to get this show on the road
Clindamycin is a category B pregnancy risk so it has no known risk to humans. I think most if not all the "mycin" drugs are safe during pregnancy. I had to take one in my first pregnancy but I think it was a different one. It didn't work for me though and I had to move up to Augmenton (sp?). Neither affected my pregnancy or baby. Good luck!
Geez, Treksy.. you've had a bit of hell on your hands for the past week or so :/ hope this buuuuuullshyt all gets fixed and baby comes soon!
Well im deadly allergic to amox and penicillin. And ive taken it all 3 times Ive been pregnant with no issue and never had anyone tell me otherwise.
Ive been allergic to the broad spectrum antibiotics since I was 7. Im pretty well versed lol
I was told clindmycin is a no no when pregnant...
Finally!! They called me back... theyre calling in clyndamycin and tylenol 3 for me! Jeeeez, Im so happy I could cry... its been a nightmarish couple of days!
Benadryl for sleep is safe in pregnancy, try chicken soup, mashed potatoes
It really is hell! Im also allergic to all the run of the mill antibiotics so I need special ones called in
You need antibiotics. They won't be able to do too much until the infection goes away. Maybe your on could just prescribed you some to help you. :( Poor thing I can't imagine being so far along and then having this on top of it all. Good luck.<3
Ob said tylenol 3 is ok. I just wanna be able to sleep and eat and rest for labor!
You need antibiotics ASAP!!!! I had to get a root canal on my molar and my broken wisdom extracted recently! I called my ob made them fax over permission to see dentist and was able to get an appiontment! Before that when it was infected i went to ER to get antibiotics so I did not have to play waiting game! ER was like you know we dont have dentist and i said yep i just need antibiotics ASAP! Plus they wanted to give me Norco 5/325mg because its less tyenol cause too much is dangerous! I refused but eventually both dentist and Ob talked to me and i finally agreed later
Oh my thats horrible, glad they caught it before it claimed your life. All the more reason why she should stay on the dentist office and demand something. At the very least antibiotics and some type of pain meds until she delivers.
The infection could get into your blood and being pregnant, that's no good either! So I would be calling the dentist or drive my butt up there and tell them how serious this is.
I have one on the bottom left that is broke off.. My dentist knew about it almost a YEAR ago and said it still looked strong so no need to fix it right then.. Needless to say, once I have this baby, if it doesn't get infected before then, I'm having it took OUT. May do that before I hit 30 weeks. I'm 25 weeks now. I'm just ready to have it out. I had another tooth on the other side that was literally a day away from killing me. The infection had started spreading to my brain. I know your pain :(
My OB had to write a not stating which medication the dentist could give me. Tylenol 3 was on the list but I ended up not needing it. As for the dentist I would blow there phone up. The abscess is full of infection so it needs to be taken care of ASAP. Regardless of how far pregnant along you are they can atleast drain it.
sea salt in warm water as a mouth wash will help takecare♡
