Ache and soreness in left side of uterus/ovary--ovulation?

According to my averages (I haven't started temping or using OPKs yet), I should have ovulated on 12/18. On Saturday at noon we were intimate, and then that very evening I started experiencing weird, almost pulsating cramps in the middle-to-left part of my uterus and left ovary. It felt different from menstrual cramps, not as painful but still kind of stingy. It got sharper a couple of times, but still not something I'd call painful. It just felt uncomfortable. On Sunday I continued to feel light cramping, though my uterus started feeling full/heavy. Monday it continued, and I even started feeling twinges on the left side and even in my left lower back. Tuesday there was little to no cramping but I felt a dull ache in my uterus that has been constant. Wednesday it was much lighter, pretty ignorable, but felt sore. And then last night it felt so sore and swollen on just my left side (left uterine wall, left ovary, and through to my lower back but only on the left) that I couldn't get comfortable in bed because of the pressure. Now, none of this has felt painful, so I haven't felt the need to make an appointment with the doc. Should I? Has anyone felt this and had it turn out to be a cyst or something?

Also, another thing that has made me feel that something odd is going on down there is I lost my sex drive entirely after Saturday, maybe due to the general discomfort? On Monday we tried getting intimate again but I felt like I was too full (he's the best lover I've ever had but he's not big enough to have ever caused discomfort before). My cervix kept getting bumped and it was making me cramp, so we didn't finish. When I went to feel, my cervix was lower than I'd ever felt it before. But when I asked him if he felt himself bumping it, he said no. We haven't tried again, as I told him I've been feeling kind of "blah" and needed a break. So we're skipping this cycle.

I've been breaking out, which typically doesn't happen until my period starts, but I have read that some women do get acne episodes during ovulation. I've been super tired and have tried going to sleep early but I can't seem to fall asleep until after midnight, which makes me even more tired the next day. I was hungry all of yesterday and woke up starving today. My BBs are only mildly sore, mostly the nipples--I don't notice it until he tries to touch them or until I take my bra off. No nausea. I have sinus issues so a stuffy nose and headaches are common for me. I've been crabby lately, but because I'm tired. And my CM was drying out sun-tues, but on wed I started getting wet spots on my panties, and today I feel like I keep leaking, sort of like I'm going to start my period, only I'm not expecting it until the 1st. Today the soreness is STILL there, but the lightest it's been since Saturday evening. My lower back hurts, but this office chair ***** so I don't know, haha.

Ever since I can remember, I start feeling PMS exactly a week before I start my period. This is a little earlier than I've had it, unless I'm just starting earlier than expected this cycle... Bodies can be so hard to read!

Any thoughts? Similar experiences? Was it ovulation, a cyst, something else I should look out for? Hormone imbalance, maybe? I would like to think pregnancy, but I honestly don't feel like I am at all. I just feel achey and worn out. ):

OKAY, to wrap up this case: traces of pink in cm last night, and today AF is arriving on schedule!

So for anyone experiencing the same symptoms, apparently it's common for some women to feel O symptoms that blend right into PMS symptoms. Kind of ***** to be achey and bloated half the month, every month, but there you have it, folks!

On the plus side, it was interesting to feel the exact day and approximate time of ovulation. I don't even need OPKs!

Uterus achey all day with light intermittent cramps. Boobs got very sore. DTD and lightly spotted afterwards. There was even a tiny dryish clot. Not much cm at all. Left side is more achey than right again, might be gas (tmi). My cycles average at 32-33 days. I'm CD26 and roughly 11po-ish. 12 i guess since it's so late. If af arrives for real later then this would be the shortest cycle I've ever had!

That is all.

Just to update: I'm expecting AF anywhere between 12/29 and 1/1. On 9dpo (christmas eve) I kept getting short-lived waves of sadness out of nowhere. I have been cramping lightly since 9dpo, usually in the evening. These are more familiar, AF-like cramps that I feel lower mid uterus. Feels achey down there this morning, but evenly (not just left side anymore). My BBs are getting sore again--all over, not just nips. Last night I had a bad case of heartburn (probably from all the holiday feasting) that wouldn't let me sleep, and I got nauseous. I'm still dreaming a lot(the one from last night felt like a movie). My eyes feel hot like when I have a fever, but I'm probably just tired.

Tested yesterday. BFN. Just goes to show that weird ovulation symptoms can pop up at any time!

All I'm feeling today is a barely-there soreness on the left side of my uterus/back and left ovary. And my nips are still a little tender and feverish (don't know how else to describe it). But other than that I feel like I'm back to normal.

Sooo, I'm not worried anymore!

Okay, so new developments:

1. My nipples feel tender. More specifically, they feel hot, and last night they felt a little sunburned or something. TMI, but we sleep in the nude and even just our comforter scratching against them hurt. I'm not sure if it's just because I'm paying more attention, but they actually seem fuller due to how they seem to get in the way more than usual. And they're kind of spilling out of the top of my bra. I typically don't experience this during ovulation/pms, so that's weird.

2. I know that technically everyone dreams when they are in REM, but I very rarely remember what I dream about. The night before I dreamt that my bf stepped away for a moment and an old coworker I used to have a crush on (who I haven't seen in almost a year) took advantage of his absence and kissed me. When I woke up I thought, I don't think that counts as "vivid". BUT then I woke up at 5:30 this morning from a very, very vivid dream. And when I fell back to sleep, I had ANOTHER. As sexual as they were, I still didn't feel like getting intimate this morning...

The ache has gone away. My uterus just feels... noticeably there. It's not hurting, it just feels full. I've been tired still, I keep getting little spots on my face, and I am still feeling leaky (though this has happened right before AF before). My left lower back is still aching, even after stretching and massaging it.

So has anyone else felt ovulation so strongly before? Since I'm not entirely sure when I ovulated I have no idea when the earliest I could test is, so I'll just wait to see if my period is late, I guess. Though I'm really trying not to get my hopes up.

I'm sorry, I can't help but write novels, haha.
