I'm not a small girl either and I first felt her around 22 weeks. Now at 27 weeks I feel her all the time.

I'm not a small girl. I didn't feel strong kicks until 23-24 weeks and was completely sure it was my daughter. I first felt movement around 22 weeks but sometimes had a hard time telling the difference between movement and gas.
This time around I felt movement sooner and was absolutely positive it was my baby( another girl). I weigh the same as I did when my first was born. Im not tiny and I'm only 5'1"

It could also have to do with placement of the placenta and how your baby is facing. If your feeling movement I wouldn't worry. They get stronger I promise and can sometimes be painful so don't worry

Well I'm a first time mommy also, but I have heard most first time mommies feel the movement in their 20th week. Today I felt a kick and I'll be 16 weeks tomorrow but more than anything it's flutters I feel, I'm waiting for the day to actually feel kicks and movement it's so exciting. I don't think your weight has nothing to do with it maybe your baby will start kicking in a few days. All blessing to you and your bundle of joy :)

Have you talked to your doctor about this? I have a Dr's appointment tomorrow and this is exactly what I'm going through so I'm asking tomorro . I felt flutters at week 12 or so but now im 16 weeks and I feel nothing at all at any time. I have constant ultrasounds and I know the baby is fine but it kinda worries me too you know.
