After a c-section

After a c-section, how long do you need to wait to have another baby? How was yput experience? And what type of anesthysia do you get for a second c-section? I have my first baby on feb 24 2016 and had to get an emergency c- section... I would like to know how is the experience on a scheduled c-section.. To those moms that have already done it .. Thank u

I wont be able to do a vbac. Dr. Said i can only give birth by cesarean. Something about the birth canal being too small.

Most doctors won't do a vbac if you haven't waited the specified time or at least that's what all my doctors have said if it's under a year after the c section no vbac

They recommend waiting 18 months between pregnancies with C-sections. I'm actually trying for. VBAC with my second. (33 weeks now) uterine rupture is less than 1%. There are actually more risks getting multiple cesareans. To each their own though just know you CAN try for a vaginal birth. I had an emergency c-section with my first due to HR. Even if you do go for a RCS then it should go really well for you since you are expecting it and can request certain things, like immediate chest to chest or cutting umbilical cord. Good luck to you!

My first was an emergency due to placental abruption me and baby nearly died that one was scary but I felt ok when I fell pregnant with my second I left a gap of 3 years between them her c section was planned and it was so Carm and relaxing and I felt really good afterwards was up and moving within 8 hours I think I'm in more pain due to it being my 3rd and my scar tissue being worse having being opened up 2x before I'm having my tubes tied after this one my body probably wouldn't handle another

I had a c section scheduled last April and will be having another c section this May..yes very close together but everything looks good..no concerns and no abnormal pain..and I loved my c section last time compared to my first 2 vaginal..it was nice with no labor and all planned and scheduled..I know everyone is different and if you have questions definitely ask doctor :) hope this helps

You are meant to wait at least 18 months I had my daughter last March and I'm now 30 nearly 31 weeks pregnant again and I can tell you it's not all easy doing it so close together you have a risk of uterine rupture which can be fatal ... Plus your body hasn't had time to heal properly so if you had pelvic pain the last time it will be so much worse if you get pregnant agai. To early on after your c section and having a little one and being pregnant is hard when you have all these risks as you have to take it easy my little girl was only just 5 months when I found out I was pregnant again the begging was fine but now near the end I'm in alot of pain can hardly walk I have a lot of pressure on the scar ect and I won't be going full term they think ill be lucky to make it to 37 weeks
