this is my first time flying since I've been pregnant. Are the body scanners safe?
The body scanner don't penetrate thru like xray machines..they just go on the surface of your body...make sure y'all not hiding Nutn..make sure Nutn us in your pockets...
Yes they are safe...I work for TSA...are you noticeably pregnant? If you are don't say nothing till they tell you which way to go...then if you don't feel comfortable going thru the body scanner ask for a patdown...they will do a patdown...if they send you thru the metal detector they are Okai they just detect metal...
