Annoying cough

I have had an annoying cough for 44 days now. It's a tickle in my throat that I can't relieve with hot honey water, essential oils, marshmallows... You name it I've tried it. I have no other symptoms, no stuffy nose, no sore throat, no fever, etc. I cough so often, maybe every 2-3 minutes. I barely sleep because I'm coughing. I am almost 29 weeks pregnant, have heartburn so bad I try to sleep sitting up and I have an umbilical hernia that hurts like hell every time I cough, I poke it back in. Anyone have any clue what this is from?

I had a bad cold with my son and I  lost my voice. My ob prescribed me a cough syrup with hydrocodone in it. I tried everything and nothing relieved my cough or tickle.

As far as heartburn my doctor suggested regular strength PepcidAC twice a day. It's been a lifesaver!

I had some severe coughing with a cold I couldn't get rid of a couple weeks ago. 2-3 times a day I would take a lime, squeeze it into a cup, add honey and drink it with a spoon. It helped a lot, good luck!

I had the same issue with my last 2 pregnancies it was horrible i understand your pain/frustration. I kept nagging my Dr about it. Finally, they have me an inhaler. Within 3 days it started to taper off.
