My teeth have gotten really bad..
I had a tooth ahe when they did my ex-ray
They said I needed 11 fillings!!!
3root canals!!!
And one wisdom tooth pulled...
So far iv done all the fillings done.
Im 36weeks and still have 3root canals left and have to get one tooth pulled.
The fillings were not bad
Im really scared of the root canals
I had my wisdom teeth pulled while pregnant. My doctor didnt like tge idea of it but he gave me the ok to have it dont because they hurt so bad and I didnt have any problems.
I broke a tooth flossing! I ended up having 2 root canals. Not fun at all! But it's so much better to get the work done than to risk it affecting the baby. 2nd trimester is the golden window!
My teeth went to **** during n after pregnancy, n I've never once done drugs, n any alcohol, nothing! Its just a genetic thing I guess. Take care of your teeth while u got them :-)
I have gotten Eight fillings and an extraction done during my pregnancy..
I had a tooth pulled. I just had to wait till my second trimester to do it because I needed antibiotics that pass through the uterus. They did however mess up my x Ray because the nurse didn't know the proper protocol and she didn't cover me up right...I thought the dentist was gonna have a stroke when she walked in....so just make sure u have a doc and staff that knows how to handle a pregnant patient. Also the dumb nurse told me to take ibuprofen...I told her no and she was like well just take what your doctor recommends. ?? I called my doctor right after and they called and blasted them and told them what is good and not good...hopefully better luck for the next preggers that walks in for dental work
I did at 26 weeks my Dr just sent info that needed to happen to a sure mine n my baby safety and what numing they can use I did a filling to n everything went great
I had braces when i was pregnant with my daughter it was hard the third trimester . Dentist wanted to lay me flat on my back had to tell her it was hard for me to breath. We communicated more for my dentist visits to be more pleasant . Good luck !
Thanks ladies.. It's pretty funny because I'm known to have things like this happen to me all the time.. My hubby isn't surprised anymore when I say "guess what happened to me" lol
Lol... I want pink and yellow starbursts now *_*
I've had dental work-a had a wisdom tooth pulled at 13 1/2 weeks (not fun) and then a deep cleaning about 2 weeks ago @ 37 1/2 weeks (not fun either) but safe. A filling or a crown should not be an issue :)
Ding ding ding- starburst for the win- totally did the same thing, I had it fixed. They just needed a signed ok from my doc saying novocaine was ok and carried on :) I need a root canal too buuuuut I'll wait on that (I hate the dentist lol)
Haha, I'm sorry for laughing, but you explained your problem in a way that hit my funny bone! I have not had dental work while pregnant, but my midwife has told me it's fine if I need it. Ask your doctor first for peace of mind and make sure the dentist knows you're pregnant if it's not obvious. I hope your tooth feels better soon!
