BREAST IMPLANTS AND BREAST FEEDING PLS REPLY!

This is my 2nd pregnancy and after having my 1st child I decided to get implants, I got them under the muscle and under breast fold incision, 400cc, I'm due April 8th 2015 and my boobs with be exactly 2 years old. Has anyone else experienced breast feeding and pregnancy with implants? Worries mine might leak? Be a risk to the baby? Incision opening? Not being able to breast feed? ECT

I think it is not recommended for you to breastfeed.

Best to ask your doctor, I think it depends on the kind of implants you've got.. like the material..

Check with your doctor/surgeon.
Good luck!
And congratz on your baby!

Actually, if your nipple still has feeling, the chance are high. Breast augmentation (breast implants) isn't a reason alone not to be able to produce breast milk. Most likely, it depends on the kind of surgery you had, but most approaches are compatible with breastfeeding. Incisions made under the fold of the breast or through the armpit shouldn't cause any trouble. A  "Smile" incision around the areola increase your risks of breastfeeding complications. Your at risks also for breast mastitis infections, more so then a woman who's had no implants. But don't get discouraged, your chances of breastfeeding are still high. Consulting in a board certified lactation specialist, is highly recommended!!!!!!!
