I took all that sort of stuff when I had my first and it turned out the hospital supplyed everything all I needed was something to bring him home in. Not sure about bottles I breastfed in the start.

I'd say about 6 bottles (to start)...that way you're not washing them every hr.  I'm taking 3 sleepers....3 undershirts (it's chilly here)....2 hats...2 pairs of mitts.  Have you talked to your L&D?  They may supply diapers, receiving blankets, wash cloths to use while there.  Ours does so all I have to take for him are clothes.

You wont need a whole lot of the things that the baby will grow out of rather quickly, plenty of bibs would not hurt since they can be worn for a while and blankets will get good use as well. Bottles depend on how often you wanna find yourself washing them, the fewer you get the more you will find yourself at the sink after every other feeding.
