No correlation between FHR and gender.
It's just an old wives tale. Usually that early in pregnancy all babies heartbeat are that high. As you get farther along it will probably change but that doesn't mean anything.
I think it's just an old wives tale
My little boys heart rate was always low throughout my pregnancy they said i was probably having a girl. I am pregnant with no4 and at my app the heart rate was 130 and midwife and my mum said i was having a boy. Turns out im having a girl. So i think the heart rate thing is a little unreliable. Fun guessing tho :)
Nah. My sons was 170s all throughout pregnancy. He was an active baby. Constantly moving and once he was born he stayed active! He's two now and barely stops to eat and drink. Lol
No I'm having a girl and her heart beat was low 133
My doctor told me that the smaller the baby is...meaning the less amount of weeks you are, the faster the heart rate is. I liked to listen to those old wives tales, but now that I know im having a boy and his heart rate is up in what "determines a girl" none of them stood true.
Im the same as alid32 I have a boy and girl and another girl on the way and when heard the heartbeat it was in the same range as you my little girl this time is in the 150s now.
Heartbeat doesn't determine gender. I have a boy and girl with another girl on the way. All their heartbeats were within the same range.
My baby heart rate is always high too and I'm having a boy as well!
I'm having a boy but his heartbeat has been consistently high. I originally thought I was having a girl too, because of heart beat but I was wrong. Lol
My babys hb was 160 at my 12 week apt. I asked the doc if that meant girl and he said not this early. Idk when the HB can indicate gender, he just said not early on.
