Bleeding After Sex in 1st Trimester??

I'm currently 6 and a half weeks and yesterday morning when I went to the bathroom to pee I noticed a large amount of red blood in the toilet and when I wiped. I had no cramping or spotting yet in my pregnancy so this came out of nowhere and I immediately called my doctor. The bleeding only happened the one time and thismorning in ER they did an ultrasound and it showed a little bean! My HCG levels were being checked every other day for the last week so those we checked and my levels were doubling normally!

Needless to say the doctor said it could have been from when we had sex Sunday night as the cervix is very sensitive.

Has anyone else had a similar scare with either delayed bleeding after sex or blood in early pregnancy?

I recently had a miscarriage in September so I was beyond worried that this was going to be the same outcome.

I had no cramping at all when we had sex or when the bleeding happened. I was worried because spotting would make sense post sex but I literally looked in the toilet and saw all red blood like a period.

I went for a second ultrasound yesterday and saw the heartbeat!! Looks like it was just an irritated cervix but talk about frightening.

I had a ton of cramping the first time we had sex after finding out I was pregnant. My nurse said that it's uterine cramping and it's normal as well as spotting after sex because there are so many blood vessels in the cervix and sex can make it more sensitive.

Was your cramping as well? I'm asking because earlier this week I had sex and I was cramping afterwards and  had a discomfort in the vaginal area and also when I closed my legs.No bleeding but it scared me so now I'm scared to have sex at all. I don't wanna cause a miscarriage I'm only 8 weeks,

I bled a lot and I am 8 weeks. I walked out of work crying like a baby thinking I was have a miscarriage. Nope, turns out it just happenes.. it was a lot of blood like it soaked the wheel chair that they had me sitting in.

Yes.  It's normal.  Scary but normal.  For me, the bleeding after sex stopped after about 15/16 weeks.

I had bleeding in week 7 and was also scared, but it was also from sex a few days before. I'm almost to week 13 now!
