Bleeding at 6 weeks?

I am six weeks pregnant and have had some cramping and spotting. I am wondering if this is normal? The blood varies in color between bright red and dark crimson. There have only been a couple of blood clots, they have not shown up in my underwear. I put a pad in my underwear before I went to bed last night and I woke up with a clean pad, there was nothing on it. I was busier and did more physical activity yesterday than I have in a couple of weeks. I am wondering if maybe that's the cause? I haven't seen a doctor yet but I'm hoping to get into an appointment today. It's hard because I am doing this on my own completely, and I would love some insight from other mommy's or people experiencing similar things. Is this normal? Am I miscarrying? If further info is needed please let me know. Blessings :)

Physical activity could cause minor bleeding and spotting. If it stopped and you are not having painfull cramps it is probably be ok. you should try to limit your activity and rest for a few days. At 6 weeks doctors might not see a heartbeat yet, its quite soon. You can do the blod tests to make sure hgc levels are rising.
Hope your baby is ok and growing healthy.

I can't be sure only a Dr can but I have heard some bleeding is common in early pregnancy however I have to say normally red blood and clots aren't a good sign sorry. I hope everything goes well for you and baby at the Dr's though and that it is just a scare and nothing serious.

Bright red can be scary. I would for sure see a doc.
