Blood pressure question

I am currently being treated for high BP. I take Lebatolol twice a day 100mg. I am 29 weeks today. I had to have a glucose test done early since im a bit overweight.(a little over a month ago) Now they want another one because of my BP. If my BP is perfect with meds, why do I have to do another glucose?

Hypertension (high bp) and being over weight can predispose you to gestational diabetes unfortunately.  Its just a precaution. Could be a neg test dont worry

Its just so tedious. With my meds, my bp is wonderful! I of course want the best for my baby but they don't even explain why I have to do all these tests.... ugh
