I have pregnancy hives, it happens and I itch like no other, its safe to take benadryl so that's what I'm doing, honestly its a god sent because I don't know how much I'd be able to handle. I'm only 14 weeks and I'm pretty sure it will go throughout my pregnancy. I'm sensitive to everything :( hope that helps

I've been itching like crazy too for like 2 weeks, my Dr is doing bloodwork to see if there is an uunderlying cause or if it's just dry itch skin.

Your hormone levels are higher then usual which could make you feel itchy all over.   If there is no visible rash that might suggest an allergy to shampoo, soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener, etc then you might want to use a less doing soap (one that has moisture in it) take warm shower not hot and use shower oil before drying off.  This helped me tremendously.  It doesn't help that worth it being cold outside people have the heaters on and you wear more layers of clothing which dry you out fast.

Call your Dr and let them know. Itching without a rash can mean Cholestasis (Google it, too much to type). If your blood test comes out positive for it, they will induce you 3 weeks early, and you will have to go in for a non stress test twice a week to make sure baby is doing okay, plus you will need to count your baby's kicks, with a goal of at least 10 per every two hours. I thought the itching was just my stretching skin, so glad the nurse noticed and asked more questions.

Thank you ladies. I went to the Dr on Wednesday and he recommended Calamine Lotion that's all. I had no itchiness until yesterday so I called him today and he said to take Allegra 120mg (1 per day) for the allergy. Hopefully it works because this is frustrating.
