Boiled egg during pregnancy

Do we need to eat boiled egg daily. I haven't started yet I'm 24 weeks now. I don't like eggs. What will happen if we don't eat egg daily? Does it effect my baby somehow?

My doctor told me to eat 2 eggs daily. At first I didnt like eggs either but now I feel like Im eating healthy because of it. I change the way I cook them when I get tired of one way. As long as theyre cooked.

As long as your finding protein in other ways your fine! I contactedy dr about protein shakes and she said as long as they arent meant for post work out body building types then they are fine Luna bars, special K stuff and Bolthouse Farms protein shakes are all ok except the green goodness, or so Ive read due to the green tea in it among a couple other ingredients. But their chocolate shakes are delicious!

This post makes me hungry for a soft-boiled egg.

I can't stand eggs when I'm pregnant. Something about them makes me sick. I have had two healthy babies so far without eating an egg every day. You just need protein so that's why people say you should eat eggs.

Interesting to ask. My pagan friends say eggs daily to protect the baby and mom from spirits/possession because the sulfur content haha. Other than that, I love eggs, quick easy protien.

I have also never heard of eating a boiled egg every day... what is it supposed to do exactly?  Just be a good source of protein?

Is this an old wives tale by chance? I think as long as your eating some protein your baby will be fine.

No its doesn't affect your baby if you don't eat eggs you just need protein in others ways. A well balanced diet of veggies, protein, dairy and carbs.. you and baby will be healthy. . :)
