The hormone relaxin that you get during pregnancy and relaxes your body in preparation for baby aggravates carpal tunnel among other conditions (like tendonitis and ligament issues) i've have tendonitis and a complete ligament reconstruction and have had to get cortisone shots this pregnancy to addalleviate pain. I tried braces without success but yes, it will go away after baby :)

There are braces you can wear that will keep your wrist straight and that should help with the pain and numbness. Mine went away right after I had my baby but sometimes it can take a little while to go away.

I get it too....except my hands fall asleep everynight no matter what position I sleep in!! It is so annoying I wake up multiple times a night and have to hang my arms off the side of the bed to get the blood back in. Ita beyond annoying!!
