Cervix dilated to 2.5 cm in 37 -38 weeks
My cervix is dilated to 2.5 cm in 37 weeks and 3 days. This is my first pregnancy and does this dilation means that am I going to deliver soon?
It just depends. Some women can be at a 4 for weeks. When I was finally at a 2 I delivered that night. It just depends on your body everyone is different.
It really varies. Some women could be a few cm dilated for weeks, and others could be closed or just a little right up until they're in active labor.
I was dialted at a 3 for a month and then 5 cm for the last week. I finally gave birth at 37 weeks. I attribute the dilation to my hunting, lots of walking in the woods. My doctor said I was a ticking time bomb at 5cm.
