I had a pretty good experience even though I went in expecting to have a vaginal delivery like I did with my first. In comparison it was a lot more straight forward and it was so nice to get to see my baby sooner. Recovery was a bit longer but I felt more uncomfortable after my vaginal because sitting and using the bathroom was a lot more painful. The only thing that wasn't cool about my cesarean was not being able to pick up my oldest son when he wanted to be held. I healed up really quick and my scar is almost invisible, it was totally worth it in the long run. I'm kind of looking forward to having one this time with my third because it will be scheduled and I will know what to expect. I hope this helps I kind of wrote a book here lol.
I had emergency c section with my first and I gained over 60lbs so recovery was alot longer and losing all my weight took months now w my sec that is 2 weeks old I did regular birth and I was up moving right away
Extremely painful about sums it up. Had to be put out as I could feel a knife cutting me. I also pooped knives(best way to describe the pain) for about 3-4 weeks after, that even with the stool softeners. My experience was not so good.
My experience was a walk in the park compared to the issues I have during pregnancy. The recovery really isn't that bad the main thing is keeping the area dry. I was overweight to start with and had to lift my stomach to dry it after my showers.im having another c-section this time around as well
