Waist/ lower abdomen pain

Im 34 weeks andSince morning I've been having waist pain like period pains. Is it normal and has anyone experienced such. Is it labour approaching? I'm a first time mum.

Not necessarily, sometimes and most times its round ligament pain from the baby growing baby. It could also be Braxton hicks contractions which prepares your body for labor in the coming weeks. Drinking water, taking a warm 15-20 minute bath or soak, lying on your left side, wearing a support belt and taking some Tylenol are all some things that can help with the pain. If you're experiencing cramping and lower back aches that come and go and are regularly spaced out with cramps lasting at least a minute apart that are consistent with every cramp for over a hour then you need to call your doctor, you could be in labor
