Cold remedies for under 12 weeks?

I am just 10 weeks and have been hit with the cold that plagued my partner (he still has the sniffles) last week.

So far I have been using my neti-pot so I can breathe at night - its slightly more complicated because I have sleep apnea and have to sleep with a mask on my face. So breathing is important to me right now!

And gargling with salt/water... I have been drinking a ton of lemon water and tea with lemon and honey as recommended by my midwife but am wondering if anyone has done anything that I am not already doing? Obviously I am making sure I get a lot more rest too.

I am still seeing clear fluids in my kleenex and am not coughing anything up (the salt/water trick works everytime for the throat!) so I am not worried about needing meds from the doc but would love to clear my sinuses in a better way than using the neti-pot. It works but is making me get sick after because of the pressure, etc.

Honey honey Honey!!!  Works magic!!  Make sure to buy the organic white honey. I use this while I'm sick pregnant or not and also give a teaspoon to my children.  I don't like medication.

Its best to consume it with out anything.  Or if the Tate is to much for you. Add it to some herbal tea.

Good luck!
