Dilated 2cm and I was sent home

I went to my ob to get checked because I was having some cramps and contractions and she checked me and told me I was 2 cm and was sent to The hospital but I was sent home later that day and I'm still experiencing cramps and some contractions here and there. I don't know if I should go to the hospital to get checked again plus I have a C section date I don't know what to do.

Even dilation at 3 you can be sent home depends on how much you are effaced as well! Just check in with Ob iespecially if contractions feel stronger!

If this is your 2nd or more baby being 2cm is normal,  most women who have had babies before don't have a completely closed cervix.  If you have a caesarean booked for a medical reason then you should speak to them if you feel the tightenings become stronger.  If you're medically OK to have a normal birth then stay at home if you can and relax and go in and be assessed when you feel contractions are 3 in 10 minutes lasting 45-60 seconds each. Hope this helps

I was sent home at 5 1/2cm dilated because my contractions aren't as strong as they want them to be.
So I know how you feel.

yes, I got sent home too and remained at 3 cm for over a week.  The cervix can open slowly or fast.  So watch your contractions!   You're getting close! good luck
