On A Side Note I Also Feel On That Forum A Lot Of People Who Aren't Pregnant Go On There And AskIf They Are Pregnant. I Don't Understand Why You Would Have This App And An Account If You Didn't Know If You Were Pregnant Or Not? And People Who Ask Things Instead Of Going To The Emergency Room, Like About Mucus Plugs Falling Out At 20 Some Weeks, People WillGet On This App And Ask What They Should Do!? Go To The Emergency Room!!! Geesh! Glad I Am Not Alone!
I agree with princesslo .. I am 21 so I wouldnt even be close to getting out of that forum. Then with all of the drama going on makes it worse. Its my second time around so I like to stay to answer legit questions that i can relate to so I go through all 3 forums and you can definitely tell its categorized by age.
I Am 23 (Almost 24) And I Almost Cannot Take The 18-24 Category. Like Batmama, I Do A Lot Of Research And A Lot Of The ForumS Over On That One Can Be Answered By Just Asking Your Doctor Or Googling. Also People Post Weird Things Like About Voodoo And Ghosts... This Isn't A Forum To Scare People It's A Plac To Ask For Help And To Hear Others Stories. I Hope I Am Accepted Into Your Group Despite The One Year Off Of Age Difference! :)
I was 24 when i got pregnant and 25 as of last month. The post in this section are allot better lol. Young, stupid, and naive are all different. I guess i do allot of research and asking my doctor before i assume things others say are true. I like the feed back on here... to answer your post, they have due by month categorized but it doesn't seem allot of people go into those, i wish they did because i like seeing women close to my due date so i can see how simular we are.
I ask/answer in all three forums because I believe all women from the youngest to the oldest can share some insight on pregnancy. I don't discriminate. I love how I might be able to help someone or just be able to relate to someone. The age groups mean nothing to me.
They do have groups according to what month you are due in that way you can relate to other moms that are due around the same time. I've found those helpful :)
They do need to label it a little better but really i don't see what the big deal is with hopping around. I like to visit all three age categories but like someone else said if I have a question I post in my correct age category (which is this one)
I had a mediator from this app say it goes by age, not weeks, hence the start at 18. They really need to label this better.
They are divided up by age. If you log on from a computer it says it is by ages in the descriptions.
I like the way it's set up and I usually bounce back and forth between this forum and the baby products one.
Personally I like it. A mom that's 35 plus is technically considered high risk, and imo deserves a different category from someone who might be in a different life path- like still finishing high school. Not judging at all, just saying it makes sense to me why it's done this way :)
If you go to communities you can actually go to all the ones on the website whether its pregnancy or not
If you're not happy with the way its categorized on this app, there is a version of the "What to expect" pregnancy app for android. I had also thought it was by how far along you are until I realized it starts at 18 and that would already be into the 2nd trimester.
No! It's age. I skip around just trying to help answer questions but I'd never ask a question in another group. IE I'm 30 so this is "my" group, even though I'm due in 2 days.
There are other forums on the website. And I have seen some for birth months on the app as well.
Ahh! Interesting. Are there not other groups? I can't believe it's not by due date or how far along you are.....
I saw a post from one of the moderators that the group's are age groups not weeks
I thought it was by weeks also, but have been told its by age. Which makes sense cause there is not a group for 1st trimester.
Actually the group's are by your age group not how far along you are.
