Do they monitor your pregnancy more after having a previous miscarriage?

I had a miscarriage mothers day 2015 at 16 weeks and just found out I'm pregnant again and I can't help but be nervous and scared of it happening again. Do the doctors keep a closer watch on you knowing you miscarried before?

I don't known if they do it willingly but I had a miscarriage in oct2013 I got pregnant again in jan 2014 just three months later. I told them of the miscarriage and requested extra ultradounds and they gladly accommodated me . so if they don't offer ask!

Wow I'm sorry to hear that Charis30. I wish you nothing but the best with this pregnancy. I'm gonna be the same as you and bug the hell out of my doctor and I've only been through one  miscarriage. I couldn't imagine going through three in one year.

From my experience with an ectopic and one miscarriage with one one healthy pregnancy which was also a threatened miscarriage they are monitoring me with this 4th pregnancy. It's dependent on the doctor but to ease your mind you can ask!! I'm nervous and worried too as what will happen this pregnancy.
