When something is good or someone had an ok experience generally they dont mention it to anyone unless they're asked about it. But when someone has a bad experience or bad reaction, people tend to tell anyone and everyone just to complain about it.
One example is customer service.  If you go to a store and get a polite cashier,  you most likely wont mention it to anyone.  But if you go to a store and get a rude, pushy, horrible cashier,  whats the bet you will moan about it to someone.
I think its the same for peoples birthing experiences. Im sure there are more cases of a complication free c-section than there are bad ones... just a thought :)

Ivr had 3 sections. And due my 4th on tue 7th jan. Ivr had no problems with any of mine. I followed docs orders etc and not had a prob since. Odviously the more u had the more u know wat to expect. All i did was didnt push myself too much but didnt lie about either.theres is abit of discomfort after but u dont have time to think about it with your new bundle a joy. Make sure u ave sum support also and good luck xx

I've noticed online read more horror stories and complaints.. but every person I've ever known in person that had a scheduled/planned c-section said it was great. All people handle pain differently & there's usually a difference between emergency (section after labor) & scheduled c-section (like yours).

The recovery is the part that might hurt, I was sore the first week even with pain meds. I had a c section for a breech baby as well and they tried to flip her twice. Just a fair warning if you do ask them to try flipping baby, it is painful!

Mine was horrible. But everyone is different. Try spinning babies.com I have heard great things. Also see if your doc is willing to try to turn baby. And there is still time for baby to turn by itself. Good luck!

With my first baby,  I had a csection.  It didn't hurt at all.  Thank goodness  for epidurals!  And I was awake during it.  Healing from it wasn't bad at all because they gave me really good prescription meds.  I took the meds as prescribed and was fine.  I had one day when I was a lil sore but it was because I didn't take the medicine on time.
