Drinks

Before I was pregnant I loved soda and other drinks now all I can drink is water and coffee. I know the water part is good for the baby but a nice cold soda would be nice does any other mommy to be have this problem.

Unless you are drinking decaf coffee the coffee has caffeine just like soda. The amounts of sugar may be different though. Caffeine is not terrible but too much early on can increase risk of miscarriage. Look for a soda that is caffeine free and limit the amount you drink and how often. i get a publix brand fruit punch soda which is caffeine free about twice a mounth and I have had mountain dew a few times since being in the second trimester. Also. Some rootbeer does have caffeine check the bottle. It is ok to give into your soda cravings in moderation :-)

When i was pregnant with my first bb i stoped caffeine soda n went to caffeine free soda then with my second bb no caffeine either with this one I've decided to not drink any soda so now its juice n water. It was hard to quit caffeine cold turkey luckily i hate coffee so that's a plus but ive only take sipps here n there n the taste now is gross n its been 3 years since I've had a full glass of caffeine soda.

I avoid soda while pregnant or not.. if you really want one I would go for a clear non caffeinated soda... like sprite... soda is not good for health and I would try to go as natural as possible if you want to drink them... lol... funny natural soda...
