Ok. So this is right up my alley lol. What I've been doing since the hot summers of California to the mildly warm what we call winter here also is using coconut oil or olive oil on my belly, butt, hips and breasts (all stretch mark prone areas). Because they're the best in locking in moisture. Especially after a shower. At night I've also tried to take warm oil baths. Which soothes my achy joints and moisturize my body at the same time, you can also get your hubby to help you rub in the oil after you get out of the bath.. my little sneaky way of getting a massage hehe. It has worked wonders on my skin. My skin is soft, tone even, no itchy and scratchy feeling either and my cuticles are better than ever... i dont even have to use a pumice stone for my feet anymore. Now, for my face I use something lighter like sweet almond oil, grapeseed oil. Try massaging a really small (amount half of dime size) on your face for a few mins then splash your face with warm water a few times and gently wipe off access oil n water with a cotton towel. It's natural and feels good after. The constant rubbing helps improve circulation also.

Vitamin E oil is great for dry skin. I buy the soft gels and prick it open with a diabetic lancet. I have extra sensitive skin, but it doesnt irritate my skin  and face.
Also, I have a lady who makes homemade natural shea butter and sells it to me.

I bought some queen helenes cocoa butter creme for face and body for my belly and itchy spots... But it works wonders on my face! I had dry skin, but I use it every day now and my skin is so smoothe and plump and nice. Glad I found it. And its very cheap and goes a long way. It is really greasy though so if you don't wear makeup over it, you might have to pat a bit of it dry with a cloth or paper towel.

Also, if you want to use something you already have, olive oil is a great, inexpensive moisturizer. But maybe too oily for your face.

Essential oil of seaweed (repechage) is great for really dry skin on the face. Maybe bio oil for the body?
