Due date/tips to induce

I'll preface with I know I'm being unnecessarily whiney and I should just wait and things will happen on their time. I am having a C section and a VERY large baby. My doctor pushed my delivery date back 3 days because (frankly) she doesn't want to deliver on a Friday and work over the weekend. She said there are no more openings in the OR on Friday but basically they waited so long to try to schedule, giving her the outcome she wanted. I'm annoyed because my in laws live 5 hours away and now won't be able to come to the delivery due to work conflicts and could have been here had we done Friday as we've been planning for months. I have to go for an appointment this morning and am honestly so annoyed. I know I'm overreacting and in the grand scheme it is only 3 days but I've been so frustrated for the past 4 days since they told me and I can't let it go. I know most are old housewives tales and baby will come when she's ready or at the C-section date, but any tips to move the delivery along?

You're  it being whiny what they did wasn't cool.

I tried casteroil with eggs and a pedicure with a deep food massage. I had my daughter the next day.
