Due date

So I had my last period on July 31st.  But decided to not use any protection of any sort on aug. 23rd.  So a week later I would of started my period.  But found out I was pregnant.  So how would I consider my due date. Please and thank you

Yeah, my doctors won't do one till I'm 8 weeks but I did go to the er with some bleeding 2 weeks ago and they confirmed I was pregnant and estimated 5 weeks 3 days and to follow up with my doctor. When I called for an appointment, the said I had to wait and they only wanted blood tests ran to check my levels again

That's true, but I think that it's important to let the dr know her specific situation or they might not even do a dating ultrasound

Until she has an ultrasound, they will go by her last period. That's what every doctor and nurse tells me. She just needs to go to the doctor instead of playing the guessing game.

It varies for everyone.   If you had unprotected sex on the 23rd, you probably conceived around that date or a few days later.   So that would make you around 5 weeks.

Just wait till your first ultrasound sound they'll tell you exactly how far along you are

My first day of my last period was July 30 my due date is May 6.

Actually they don't always go by the first date of your period. Like with me, my first day of my period was July 16th but I get my cycles every 5 or 6 weeks so it changes when I ovulate. I have had an ultrasound and I am 7 weeks 1 day.

I'm not saying your day was the 14th. I'm saying they go by the FIRST day of your LAST period so if the first day was July 31st, then you are 7 weeks like me. If you call your ob and make an appointment, they can tell you more correctly how long you are and when your due.

But we didn't have sex without protection until the 23rd of aug. So i know it's not the 14th

They go by the first day of your last period. Mine was also July 31st, so that makes us 6 weeks. I also know the day I conceived, August 14th. But I go the 30th to find out exactly how long I am and my due date

You just use july 31st. You usually concieve about 2 weeks after your period. If there are any questions about date of conception just ask your doctor they can do a sono to try to get a more accurate date. But they usually try to do this around 3 months or later.
